What’s in a logo? Plenty, if the answer is based on the winning entries from the recent Benchmarking and Best Practices Executive Seminar held in Orlando, FL. Below are the winners, who each received a prize and recognition at the event’s reception and dinner.
First Place
Doug Head, Supply Chain Project Manager, Hallmark Cards
“The Asian sun, rising quietly and brightly. It’s clear …we’re not in Kansas anymore! Old traditional supply chains, heavy and secure, give way to nimble, light and dynamic strands of high tensile solutions.”
Second Place
Fred Berkheimer, Vice President of Logistics, Unilever
“The exaggerated contrast of link strength portrays the all-too-often myopic capability building within the supply chain. Benchmarking activities bring objectivity for future improvement. The logo also highlights the fragility of even the strongest supply chain.”
Third Place
Scott Shea, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing/Distribution, Berwick Industries
“Don’t band-aid your supply chain, fix it! Using Value Based BenchmarkingSM , identify the best practices required to eliminate your weak links and implement those best practices to solidify your supply chain.”
