Supply Chain Executives Honored

Consortium Presents Awards at 2009 Supply Chain Leadership Forum

RALEIGH, NC, October 15, 2009 -- The 2009 Supply Chain Leadership Forum, held in Chicago in September, brought together some of the world's brightest supply chain leaders. Attendees included vice presidents and directors in logistics, distribution and transportation with top high-technology, retail, consumer products and pharmaceutical companies.

During the event, which was sponsored by the Supply Chain Consortium, award winners (see a photo gallery from the event) were recognized for their outstanding participation in the Consortium's benchmarking and best practices program.

"This year's award recipients have done an excellent job of utilizing the Consortium to benefit and develop their respective companies," says Bruce Tompkins, Executive Director of the Consortium. "And, once again the Advisory Board truly deserves recognition for their efforts in creating a successful organization for its members."

The annual forum provides exclusive access to benchmarking results and features education sessions and networking events on the latest supply chain issues, as well as keynote addresses from noted business speakers.
