the leading supply chain consulting and integration firm,
today announced a strategic alliance to jointly market and
deliver supply chain benchmarking services aimed at introducing
customers to the best practices of the world's leading enterprises.
The Soleus
and Tompkins alliance will define the supply chain best practices
of high-performance businesses through the development of
industry-specific benchmarking reviews focused on supply chain
processes and metrics. The agreement gives Soleus access to

The agreement
will give customers access to the most comprehensive supply
chain benchmarking methodology available. A recent Soleus
Group benchmarking review for the retail industry included
retailers with over $500 billion in sales, 87,000 retail outlets
and 3.8 million associates. The detailed review included 3,000
questions across 37 different functional topics. This same
process is now being expanded through the alliance to include
additional industries, including consumer packaged goods and
pharmaceuticals.
