Dedicate One Hour to Take the Supply Chain Journey Challenge

Tompkins Associates to host Supply Chain Webcast with Logistics Europe

Warwickshire, UK, Tuesday 7th May 2002 - Tompkins Associates, a global leader in Total Operations consulting, information technology implementation and material handling integration kicks off its first live European Webcast "The Challenge of the Supply Chain Journey" with Logistics Europe magazine on Tuesday 14th May at 2pm BST (British Summer Time) 3pm CET (Central European Time).

The free Webcast, aimed at executives, managers, IT innovators and service providers will specifically focus on reducing costs, improving customer satisfaction and boosting supply chain performance.

Hosted by Dr James A. Tompkins, Founder of Tompkins Associates and Nick Allen, Editor of Logistics Europe, the Webcast will also feature supply chain experts John Seidl and Adrian Best.

"Many organisations' downfall is their eagerness too do too much to soon or to cut corners," said Adrian Best, Managing Director, Tompkins Associates UK. "This Webcast addresses each step of the journey to true supply chain excellence and provides attendees with practical solutions for moving to the next step and beyond."

"The Challenge of the Supply Chain Journey" is a unique opportunity to understand Tompkins Associates' "Six Steps of the Supply Chain Journey." Tompkins has defined a process of six steps companies must climb to reach true excellence in their supply chain operations. The 14th May Webcast will uncover these steps and will focus on strategies for moving beyond business as usual to working with customers and partners for a truly collaborative supply chain.

To attend the Webcast, simply pre-register at www.tompkinsinc.com. Pre-registration is required to receive event participation instructions. For more information about this free Webcast and Tompkins Associates contact Ellie Ellis on +44 (0)1926 623 241 or email eellis@tompkinsinc.com.
