Tompkins Associates Selects Architect and General Contractor for Central Campus

Raleigh, NC, June 22, 2000—Tompkins Associates, a leading Total Operations consulting firm, is pleased to announce the selection of Little & Associates Architects and Beers Construction/Davidson and Jones Group to aid in the design and construction of their new Central Campus.

Headquartered in Charlotte, Little & Associates Architects, Inc. is a leading architectural and engineering firm with five regional offices including a location in Research Triangle Park. Led by Dan Forest, president, Little & Associates will design Tompkins' Central Campus, which will include state-of-the art meeting facilities, recreation facilities and an exciting work environment. With the Triangle area serving as the local office for Beers of Atlanta, the group is lead by Randy McNeely, vice president operations. Beers/DJ will be the project's general contractor and will oversee the development and construction of the new campus. They have been providing general contracting, construction management, design/build and related services to clients in the Southern United States since 1918.

Scheduled for occupancy in May 2001, the Central Campus will be the home of Tompkins' Raleigh Consulting Office, Worldwide Headquarters, Tompkins Press and Tompkins University. The 23-acre campus site will be located in Raleigh, NC at 401 North, adjacent to the Neuse River and bordering the new site of Wake Technical Community College.
